What are 5 passions I have?
This is a little difficult because before Chuck passed away he would be numbers 1, 2, and 3! ha Now I've had to kind of regroup and take a look at things and find my passions again. It hasn't been easy and I'm still working on it, so my passions might seem a little "shallow" or predictable....for now. I think it is super important to find your passion and tell my students that all of the time. I don't know why, but I think it is more difficult for people to find their passion......maybe it's because we are too busy with planned extra-curriculars, maybe it's because we actually have TOO much time on our hands and people years ago had so little that they knew exactly what they wanted to do with that time when they had it...hmmm.
The first two "passions" on my list would have to be my children. I couldn't put them in any 1-2 order because they are both what are most important to me.
#3 - and he is right up there with 1 and 2 - is TOBY!! He just makes my heart swell every time I look at him. If I had a tail, it would wag every time I see him - just like his does when he sees me. I love him so much that even writing this I get tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I love that dog.
Okay, I get what you're thinking.....why am I writing people.....what is MY passion...??
#4. Doing my job very well.......I do have a passion for teaching and for making a difference. It gets harder because the paperwork of it all takes away form time I want to be truly preparing for teaching...
#5. .............still working on this one.......I would put writing...but...I don't write like I used to and it's not the first thing I go to when I have "time"...I'd put my friends because I do love them so....but is that a passion really? I think not. I'd say my home/yard and taking care of it but lately I haven't felt great and have let my yard go and my house for that matter too.... :( ....yeah...this one still needs work.
